Business Head - Music Concerts (6-10 yrs)
Music Concerts are an extension of the Brand Activations agenda in some of the top FMCG/ Telecom/ BFSI companies, aiming to drive not just brand-recall, but to help achieve an enduring association with the specific Music Genre as an extension of the brand persona.
The person who is being targeted for this role should have experience in managing a P&L for an events management company. His experience of the last 5-7 years should have been in dealing exclusively with conceptualization and execution of music concerts across the country, with these concerts largely focused around Bollywood music (music-with-mass-appeal).
That experience of conceptualizing such events should have been further integrated with the sponsors' brand agenda, to give a win-win experience across all the stake-holders. ie. the Sponsors, the Event Organisers, the Brand Consumers (listeners/ viewers/ attendees), the Media and the Performing Artistes.
Primary Responsibility of the Role:
- Head the Concert Sales business and take over the P&L responsibility
- Plan and execute ticketed events across the country
- Coordinate with Programming and Marketing team to work out effective promotional plans
- Coordinate with geographically spread out teams for Sponsorship Sales
- Negotiate deals / contracts with artists
