Job Description :
- The client is seeking an experienced and dynamic individual to lead our Sales and Marketing teams as the Business Head.
- The ideal candidate will be a strategic thinker with a proven track record of driving revenue growth and brand visibility.
- Reporting directly to the MD & CEO, the Business Head will play a pivotal role in shaping and executing our sales and marketing strategies, fostering collaboration, and achieving organizational objectives.

Description:
Strategy and P&L Management:
- Develop and implement a comprehensive growth strategy to drive revenue, market share, and profitability, aligned with the company's overall vision and objectives
- Develop, implement, monitor and review a business strategy that maximizes the online top and bottom line
- Monitor and analyze key financial metrics, including revenue, gross margin, operating expenses, and net income, to identify trends, areas of improvement, and opportunities for growth
- Managing costs and draw suitable plans to increase ROI of spends
- Establish clear objectives, KPIs, and performance metrics to measure team success and align with business targets
- Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics to track the performance of the business unit, identify areas for improvement, and implement corrective measures
- Develop and implement comprehensive sales and marketing strategies aligned with company goals and market trends
- Provide visionary leadership to both the Sales and Marketing teams, fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, and high performance
Sales Management:
- Lead the sales team in identifying new business opportunities, expanding client base, and achieving revenue targets
- Drive the development and execution of effective sales techniques, processes, and training to enhance team performance
- Monitor sales trends, analyze data, and propose strategic adjustments to optimize sales activities
Marketing Management and Market Research:
- Oversee the creation and execution of marketing campaigns, ensuring brand consistency and effective messaging across all channels
- Collaborate with the marketing team to develop compelling content, digital strategies, and creative initiatives to enhance brand visibility and customer engagement
- Stay informed about market trends, customer preferences, and competitive landscape to drive innovative marketing strategies
- Manage and optimize the product assortment, pricing, and promotions to maximize sales and profitability
- Set and monitor the brand's performance in terms of sales growth and market share
- Conduct market research to identify emerging opportunities, customer needs, and industry trends
- Utilize market insights to guide product positioning, sales strategies, and marketing campaigns
Cross-Functional Collaboration:
- Work closely with other department heads to ensure alignment of sales and marketing efforts with product development, operations, and customer service functions
- Foster collaboration between sales and marketing teams to ensure seamless information flow, lead generation, and cohesive customer experiences
Performance Analysis and Reporting:
- Regularly analyze sales and marketing performance metrics to track progress and identify areas for improvement
- Provide accurate and insightful reports to the executive team, highlighting key achievements, challenges, and proposed solutions
Budget Management:
- Develop and manage the budgets for the business unit, ensuring optimal resource allocation and cost-effectiveness
- Monitor expenditures and ROI on marketing initiatives, making data-driven decisions to optimize spending
Profile:
- The Candidate should have previous experience of at least 13-18 years of experience
- The person should have handled P&L responsibility and have a successful track record in driving revenue and profitability.
- Demonstrated success in scaling businesses and achieving significant revenue growth in a competitive market
- The person will be handling a large team but will also be responsible for ramping up the teams
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field (Master's degree preferred)
- Proven experience in a senior leadership role involving both sales and marketing responsibilities
- Demonstrated success in driving revenue growth and achieving sales targets
- Strong understanding of sales and marketing principles, strategies, and tactics
- Exceptional strategic thinking, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to lead, motivate, and inspire teams
- Proficiency in data analysis and reporting tools to derive insights and track performance
- In-depth knowledge of market trends, customer behavior, and competitive landscape
- Prior experience in budget management and resource allocation
- Strong organizational and project management skills
- Ability to adapt to a fast-paced, evolving business environment
- Experience in the FMCD industry is a plus
