Business Head - FinTech Startup - IIM/FMS/MDI (10-15 yrs)
Responsibilities
- Responsible for the P&L for our business, with reporting responsibilities for the business development, investment risk and operations teams
- Lead business development to achieve the disbursement targets and improve relationships with the portfolio companies
- Drive improvements in the risk vertical to improve the risk policies and portfolio quality
- Work with the investment operations team to maintain TATs for the investments
- Work with our patron, product, and tech teams to track and use the patron feedback and data to improve our products and platform
- Understand the needs of the platform and plan effectively on meeting its requirements
- Plan sales campaign and promotional strategy with marketing, meet disbursement targets, and create a brands pipeline to achieve future targets of the organization
- Plan growth forecast and analysis and present to senior management
Requirements
- Overall 10+ years of experience with at least 3 years in Revenue/BU/Category/P&L management
- Understanding of lending or investment banking or investing ecosystem in India
- Good oral and written communication skills and exemplary presentation abilities
- Ability to work in a fast-paced start-up environment
- Previous experience in business development/building alliances is a must
- Self-starter with a passion for independent, creative problem-solving, strong ownership, high commitment and a strong business judgment
- Prior experience in lending or investment banking or start-ups investing background
- Experience in business development in investment banking is a plus
- Bachelors/MBA from top tier colleges
