Business Head - FinTech/Payments

A fintech start up, backed by leading PE firms and a one-stop solution for merchants to collect payments is looking for a Head of the Lending business vertical to lead growth that is aligned with the company's vision and revenue goals to:

- Overlook and strategize both the assets and the liability side of the business.

- Build and execute business plan, across all relevant matrices of ROI, ROE & Quality of Portfolio and launch pivotal products to disrupt and differentiate market.

- Collaborate closely with treasury, technology, operations and risk teams to create innovative and diversified products that cater to large consumer and merchant segments.

- Be responsible for the new initiatives, strategic alliances & partnerships pertaining to lending vertical.

Experience:

- A successful candidate will have 12-15 years of experience in building and scaling unsecured lending business with deep understanding of Indian markets and consumer segments.

- Extensive knowledge and understanding of the unsecured loans / Commercial lending business

- The candidate should have experience in liaising with lenders like banks, NBFCs and credit bureaus etc and managing strategic business relationships.

- The candidate should possess proven extensive product knowledge, strong work and travel ethics, strong execution and multitasking skills along with ability to form a strong and high performance team.

- Strong understanding of typical business flows of a commercial financial institution - preferably NBFC / Banks

- Understanding P/L is a must.
