Position : Business Head (Director /GM) - eCommerce

Only looking for IIT/IIM Grads / Dropouts with significant cross-functional experience in a startup environment (Preferred Founder / Core Team Members), experience in scaling up operation heavy businesses from

Location: Ahmedabad (Must not have any location constraints)

The Opportunity :

1) P&L Owner: Drive business in the identified segment /territory(s) for rapidly scaling eCommerce startup, managing a large high-performance team and business partners.

2) People Management : Recruit and groom high potential managers and their team with a strong focus on rapid scale, cost efficiencies and TAT metrics. Drive cross-functional team in matrix structure (i.e. Warehouse, Logistics, Category, Product, Buying, Customer Service, Planning etc). Channelize collective market intelligence to enhance business performance.

3) Execution: Own and rapidly scale the operations, supply chain and fulfillment capacity to ensure cost efficiencies of scale and consistent delivery experience in the existing and new territory(s).

4) Analytics and Process Excellence: Date driven problem-solving to identify business opportunities, drive operational efficiency and scale. Take big picture ideas and break them into actionable steps with accelerated timelines for completion.

5) Innovation : Identify and drive pilot projects (Product/Supply Chain/ Category) to improve returns to stakeholders, reduce costs and scale exponentially.

6) Compliance : Own safety, compliance, documentation and reporting activities for the cluster. Respond to inquiries raised by business teams and official bodies. Provide quality and compliance related coaching and mentoring to team members for capacity building

You are expected to have :

- Education : IIT / IIM and Equivalent

- Work Experience: 4-8 years of leadership experience in e-commerce/ hyper-local / retail business in a startup environment, leading a large team - hiring and nurturing talent

- Must have a minimum of 2+ years of P&L leadership experience

- Preferred startup experience as founder/ co-founder/core team member in tech drove operation heavy businesses
