We are looking for a Business Head - Digital UP West - for one of the largest Hindi newspaper group of India based at Noida.

Our Client

Our client is one of the largest Hindi newspaper group of India. Today it reaches more than 19 million readers every day through its over 2.4 million circulated copies all India.

Job Details :

Location : Noida

CTC : Standard Hike on Existing

Experience : 8 + years

Education : Graduate/post-Graduate(preferably Technical)

Pls note Relocation Expenses will not be borne by the client.

Job Profile / Deliverables

1. Shall be responsible for entire operation of the digital initiative under his control.

2. Shall Lead an expanding team to drive growth and expansion through Product Development, Technology Adaption, Social Media, SEO, Commercial Initiatives, Business Strategies and Service Excellence.

3. Manage recruitment for building up strong team from a scratch.

4. To optimize operational performance for the business, client servicing and strategy, working closely with product along with content, sales and marketing.

5. To create unifying digital vision and put all resource/energizing towards digital possibilities and co-ordinate all inherent activities towards that.

6. To provide critical tools & mobilize all resources towards business goal.

7. To create appropriate level of digital technology synergy, brand integration, investment co-ordination, skill development of all the working professionals across functions and vendor management.

8. Constantly evaluate product and processes and keep up to date with digital trends and development and ensure that the site remains/ matches with the current time and with the rest of digital world.

9. Manage digital threats and look for future opportunities.

10. To build a clean technology platform and bringing innovations across all functions over long term.

a. To devise product features, technology & its road map alongside creation of content.

b. Knowing and scaling current business and constantly looking for future opportunities that technology can create to increase profitability.

c. To Strive and Drive for tangible and measurable results. (e.g., new revenue streams, higher efficiency, minimizing the response time etc) by clearly defining KPI for all.

d. Manage relevant accreditations.

11. Owning the core operational function and being the part of executive leadership.

12. Deftly involved in New Business Development, Client Servicing, Achieving Targets and building strong relationship with clients.

13. Fostering strong alliance of company with media buyers and sellers, third party media agency to pace up competencies of the portal.

14. To work in consonance with others across the organization to make timely delivery of the projects in hand and smooth operation.

15. In depth know-how of multiple business languages (IT, marketing, strategy, finance etc.).

Experience:

- Exp. of development of strategy and leading a wider range of digital activity.

- Exp. of range of on line services and information delivery.

- Exp. of managing teams of diverse functions.

- Exp. of managing budgets

- Exp. of adoption of new and updated technology.

- Developing and executing an effective business strategy and managing both start up and mature operations.

Knowledge and Skills

- Knowledge and awareness in digital technology and experience of applying that knowledge.

- Ability to motivate business stakeholders and staff.

- Understanding of best practices across industry.

- Exceptional communication and negotiation skill.

- Strong leadership skill and ability to inspire team and individual.
