Business Head - Crop Protection/Agri Startup (10-12 yrs)

We are currently retained by a leading well-funded Agri startup to hire a Business Head-Crop Protection and Crop Nutrition.

This role will offer you to the opportunity to create and manage the overall product portfolio including P&L Management, People Management, Overseeing Sales and Marketing, Inventory Management, and Building alliances for CP and CN Category.

The role will include:

- Lead the Category Management function and the establish of excellence in Category Management across the Crop Protection categories.

- Own pricing and product management for the category.

- Build and maintain vendor relationships.

- P&L management

- Ensure that strategies are in place, approved, documented, and communicated for all categories.

- Ensure that Category Handbooks are in place for all categories.

To fit the bill, you must have:

- An MBA Agri or M.Sc with 10-12 years strong experience in Crop Protection/Biostimulants/PGR companies.

- P&L management experience

- Strong stakeholder management skills to engage with business leaders on their requirements and manage expectations

- Analyse and study customer requirement and forecast purchase planning.

- Worked closely with farmers and understand their mindset.

- Brand planning and positioning in Agri industry

- Strong people management experience
