Business Head - Capital Markets

- We are now entering into Capital Markets Advisory and are looking for a Business Head/Director Level professional to steer this business.

- The role holder is responsible for actively bringing in clients who seek advisory services in all areas of Capital market (M&A buy side, sell side, mergers; IPO and Private Equity Placement) The role holder will be responsible for achieving targets and will hold overall responsibility of the P&L for the unit.

- Should be able to provide expert advice to clients regarding financial structuring, due diligence studies, and company valuations in various investment banking transactions such as mergers or acquisitions, portfolio restructurings, rescheduling, capital increases, Private Equity placement, equity sales, etc. The role holder is also responsible for collaborating with his/her team to ensure superior service for the clients.

- The candidate will have strong financial and analytical skills, have a strong understanding of the Indian Capital Advisory market, together with being familiar with the issues and processes relating to it.

- The candidate will ideally have experience in India, be strongly self-motivated and have the ability to work on assignments from the early advisory stages through to execution, and utilising the resources of the unit along the way.

Business Development:

- Capital markets Transaction management

- Running Advisory Assignment

- Investment Advisory to clients by working with his/her Research teams

- Compliance & due diligence.

Educational & Other Pre requisites:

- CA (1 st Attempt) or MBA Finance from Top Tier College

- Between 10 - 15 years' experience and exposure to Capital markets

- Worked closely with mid-sized Clients for their IPO and/or M&A

- Exposure on Private Equity Placement.

- Proven track record of delivering business results and Growth Orientation

- Experience & exposure of working with mid-sized Indian clients in (100-500 Cr) range.

- Complete entrepreneurial mindset & start-up exposure who can hit the ground running.
