Business Head /AVP

About the role:

- As a pharma business head, you will be responsible for growing the pharma business at Company with a focus on multi-channel sales (institutions, government, corporates and digital).

- As a custodian of the Pharma P&L, you will play a role in growing the pharma business vertical by building a dedicated sales team, creating a strong customer base, and improving Company's presence and capabilities.

Scope & responsibilities:

- Interact and build a network of customers across India focusing on pharma sales (repeat business and increased wallet share)

- Manage key accounts (VPO accounts) with correct product supplies as per formulary

- Create demand for pharma products across multiple therapy areas

- Work with internal teams to partner and tie-up with pharmaceutical OEM's

- Manage ad-hoc requirements including export orders, tenders, and large-scale contracts

- Identify products for private labelling across Company's customer base

Desired Skills & Functional Experience:

- 16-18 years+ of pharmaceutical experience preferably in sales & marketing

- Experience in handling key accounts and institutional business

- Ability to leverage known existing customer base to incrementally add business to Company

- Experience in managing and building a team of sales personnel

- Data-driven approach to decision making, problem solving and experimentation.

- Courage to disagree with the popularly held beliefs, persuasion skills to convince others to your way of thinking and the wisdom to change your own opinions considering relevant information.

- Ability to work independently

Nice to have skills and experience:

- Experience with digital sales / marketing

- Own network of KOL's and Customers

- Experience in launching a product or building a business from scratch
