Job Summary :

- We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Business Finance Analyst with 4-5 years of experience, preferably from the FMCG or Agri industry, to join our finance team.

- In this role, you will play a pivotal part in driving financial planning, analysis, and decision making processes that align with our business objectives.

- You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure financial discipline and support business growth through insightful analysis and reporting.

Key Responsibilities :

Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) :

- Lead the budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning activities, ensuring alignment with business objectives and market trends.

Cost Management & Optimization :

- Identify key cost drivers, evaluate cost-saving opportunities, and work with operational teams to drive efficiency across business operations.

Profitability Analysis :

- Conduct detailed analysis of product line profitability, market performance, and business unit contributions to inform strategic decisions.

Business Partnering :

- Collaborate with sales, marketing, and operations teams to provide financial insights, performance analysis, and decision support.

Working Capital Management :

- Monitor and optimize working capital metrics, including inventory, receivables, and payables, to improve liquidity and cash flow.

Risk Management :

- Evaluate financial risks and provide recommendations to mitigate exposure, while ensuring compliance with industry regulations and financial policies.

Variance Analysis :

- Perform monthly and quarterly financial variance analysis, explaining deviations from budgets and forecasts, and propose corrective actions.

Financial Reporting :

- Prepare and present timely financial reports, ensuring accuracy and adherence to reporting standards.

Key Requirements :

Experience :

- 4-5 years of experience in business finance, with a strong understanding of the FMCG or Agri industry.

Education :

- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or related field. MBA/CA preferred.

Skills :

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

- Proficiency in financial modeling, forecasting, and budgeting.

- Advanced knowledge of Excel and financial software tools (e.g., SAP, Oracle, etc.).

- Ability to work cross-functionally and communicate financial concepts to non-financial stakeholders.

- Strong understanding of P&L, balance sheet, and cash flow statements.

Preferred Attributes :

- Prior experience in cost optimization, product pricing, and market analysis.

- Familiarity with industry-specific challenges in FMCG or Agri.

- Strong business acumen and ability to drive strategic initiatives.
