Business Finance Role - Consumer Tech

1. Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A)

- Develop and maintain financial models to support strategic decision-making.

- Prepare annual budgets, forecasts, and financial projections.

- Monitor key financial metrics (e.g., CAC, LTV, revenue growth, burn rate).

- Conduct scenario planning and sensitivity analysis for different growth strategies.

2. Revenue & Growth Strategy

- Partner with product, marketing, and sales teams to drive revenue growth.

- Analyze pricing strategies, monetization models, and unit economics.

- Evaluate customer acquisition costs (CAC) and lifetime value (LTV).

- Identify opportunities for cost optimization and efficiency improvements.

3. Cash Flow & Capital Management

- Monitor cash flow to ensure sustainable runway and capital efficiency.

- Support fundraising efforts (seed, Series A, etc.), including financial due diligence.

- Liaise with investors and stakeholders to provide financial insights.

- Optimize working capital and ensure proper capital allocation.

4. Financial Reporting & Compliance

- Oversee bookkeeping, financial statements, and investor reports.

- Ensure tax compliance, regulatory filings, and audit readiness.

- Work with external accountants, auditors, and legal teams on compliance matters.

- Implement financial controls and risk management strategies.

5. Business Intelligence & Performance Analysis

- Track and analyze KPIs, unit economics, and customer behavior trends.

- Leverage data analytics tools to provide real-time financial insights.

- Support leadership in making data-driven strategic decisions.

6. Cost Optimization & Profitability

- Assess and control operational expenses to improve margins.

- Negotiate contracts with vendors, suppliers, and service providers.

- Identify opportunities to reduce customer acquisition and operational costs.

7. Cross-Functional Collaboration

- Act as a financial partner to product, marketing, and engineering teams.

- Provide insights on business strategy, pricing models, and scaling operations.

- Assist in financial negotiations with investors, suppliers, and business partners.
