Business Finance Manager - Consumer Goods (5-8 yrs)
Position - Business Finance Manager
Location - Bangalore
Position reports - Business Finance Head and Business Head

Roles and responsibilities:
Financial management:
- Businesswise P/L, Balance Sheet finalization and consolidation as per Indian AS & IFRS.
- Preparing monthly/quarterly/annual forecast and monitoring it.
Compliance for Business Unit:
- Ensure compliance with accounting policies and regulatory requirements. Manage compliance under GST, Income Tax, Custom Laws, Audit.
- Developing strategies that work to minimise financial risk.
- Review of contracts.
- Guide the BU management team on Finance matters
Reporting:
- Producing financial reports related to budgets, account payables, account receivables, expenses etc.
- Developing long-term business plans based on these reports
- Analysing sales, marketing and competitors trends.
Costing Management :
- Analysing production costs and recommending changes.
- Developing cost standards for materials and labour.
- Designing and implementing cost accounting systems. Performing month/quarter-end cost accounting closure.
- Analysis and review of margin analysis, variance with various stakeholders like Supply Chain, Operations, Sales, and Marketing teams.
- Ensure that cost is correctly booked as per the cost centre and has a uniform system across the group.
- Drive cost reduction projects
- Cost estimation for new projects
Desired profile:
- Must be either CA/ICWA/MBA (Fin).
- Must have worked in Business Finance function for a couple of years
- Candidates preferred from Manufacturing/consumer goods/retail industries
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Demonstrated leadership skills and ability to solve problems and set priorities
- Strong numerical and analytical skills
