Business Finance Leader - Big4

Technical Excellence :

- Responsible for leading the financial planning and management, accounting, and costing functions and ensuring financial health of the Service Line (SL) while monitoring issues related to resource forecast, utilization, and other risk factors to achieve the desired business results

- Responsible for driving effective financial planning, compliance with applicable accounting standards and minimum liability for the organization while ensuring compliance

- Develop the organization-level financial strategy plan, based on inputs from the leadership, detailing the strategy map, growth plans, anticipated challenges, manpower estimation and financial viability analysis along

- Scan the external environment to identify potential changes that can impact the organization; prioritizes the impact and recommends suitable financial actions to effectively manage the change

- Analyse performance of the SL periodically using accounting information, identify and report long-term issues that may impact the SL

- Determine budget for the finance division ensuring alignment to overall organizational budget

- Drive adherence to the budget including tracking and measurement of financial performance

- Take necessary action for any budget deviations and drive cost optimization initiatives

- Take overall responsibility for development of the organization budget across all departments / functions on time; critically monitor adherence to the organization budget

- Conduct analysis of all monthly and annual financial and business performance reports with a view to provide explanations for variances from budget, forecast and prior period actual data

- Conduct analysis of each SSL / competency's operational processes to improve efficiency, reduce costs and Maximize revenue & PAT

- Lead the reviews of the annual business plan to determine progress and status in attaining the strategic and financial objectives along with SSL /Competencies

- Update the SSLs on periodic basis regarding variance of actual performance from the budget and supports them in planning & provisioning

- Establish effective and robust financial accounting and cost accounting systems so as to provide timely, accurate and consistent inputs for management

- Analyse MIS reports and financial statements (such as profit and loss) on a periodic basis and suggests remedial measures for improvement

- Lead the design accounting workflows and reconciliation rules and set up report requirements for reporting

- Recommend cases for write off for approval

- Define the roadmap for Business Assurance and identify associated risks, measure and manage the same

- Drive Automation across the SL
