Business Finance Head - Retail/eCommerce (7-10 yrs)
To effectively partner with the business teams to deliver the following:
- Financial Planning & Analysis - AOP, Budgeting, Forecasting, Business proposals
- Lead Annual Budget & quarterly forecast process for OPEX; Manage & Evaluation of Annual Capex for the organization for fund allocation and drive quarterly performance to identify risk in spending allocated funds.
- Financial Reporting & Variance Analysis - P&L, Cash Flow reporting, and variance analysis
- Business Finance - Feasibility reports; margins models, profitability metrics, Dashboards, Dockets, and Business plans
- Commercials & Contract Management, reconciliations, and settlements with partnering brands, clients, ensuring revenue recognition and settlements; liasoning with the legal team for commercial and legal closures for potential business opportunities
- MIS & Reporting - Weekly KPI reviews, monthly/ weekly business reports to corporate
Competencies
- Strong understanding or interest in the Retail/ E-commerce, brand awareness, trends
- Ability to work with senior leadership
- Analytical skills & problem-solving
- Proficiency in MS Office
- Clarity on Financial concepts - cash flows, P&L, Balance sheets
- Team building - mentoring & coaching team members
- Cross-functional team co-ordination - work with multiple stakeholders
- Excellent problem-solving skills and analytical skills
- Strong presentation skills
- Good Understanding of retail and e-commerce business
- Work in a fast-paced environment in a rapidly growing organization
