Business Development Representative

Position Summary :

Through outbound calling and sales team collaboration, a Business Development Representative will prospect into targeted territory based business accounts in an effort to increase productivity of field sales by qualifying accounts as potential revenue opportunities. BDRs will nurture prospects generated through Marketing Programs and qualify to an approved lead level. BDRs will also extract sales intelligence from prospects.

BDRs work with and support sales team/territory in a collaborative manner to drive quality pipeline for the business. BDR represent the Infor brand to prospects and customers and will demonstrate and communicate Infor's brand value propositions in doing so.

The role reports to the Field Marketing Director/Manager with a strong dotted line to the head of Business Development.

Responsibilities :

- Collect propsective customer data and generate qualified marketing leads for field sales through outbound calling activities.

- Segment the market, profile accounts, identify solutions and key contacts based on identified criteria.

- Manage all updates to leads, account profiles and detail all interactions realtime in SalesForce CRM system.

- Provide prospective customers with basic information about Infor . Be able to present corporate message and solution overviews via phone or e-mail communications

- Navigate internally within Info to obtain answers necessary to fulfill prospect's questions

- Complete call/opportunity reports to management on a weekly basis or as requested

- Meet quarterly goals established for sales accepted opportunities and pipeline value

Qualifications :

- Language skills - English (excellent verbal and written communication skills are a must)

- 4+ years Business Development/Inside Sales experience in a B2B environment. Enterprise software or technology company experience with an understanding of complex enterprise sales

- Understanding of cold calling, lead nurturing and lead generation methodology

- Patience and excellent communication skills (especially phone based communication)

- Proficient PC Skills in Microsoft Office and familiar with prospecting CRM tools (such as Salesforce.com)

- Experience with prospecting methodologies such as Sandler is a plus

- Ability to grasp concepts quickly, drive to succeed and target/results driven

- Creativity and initiative to generate own call efforts

- A team player with the ability to build strong peer and interpersonal relationships

- Upbeat, dynamic communicator. Flexible can do attitude.
