Business Development Manager - Waterproofing/Chemical Industry - IIM/FMS/MDI/XLRI (5-13 yrs)

Mumbai/Delhi NCR/Bangalore/Hyderabad Job Code: 977562

Primary Role: Engage with Key Influencer Accounts, Identify projects at early stage, drive business development in the linked Projects/Segments by incorporating Company's products and systems at project design stage and track specified projects for conversion with sales team.

Responsibilities:

1. Specification Management:

a. Map the projects of respective influencer accounts and through other sources / publications at early stage to build progressive project pipeline.

b. Actively seek clarity of project design needs and recommend suitable products / systems by type of projects.

c. Make presentations to consultants and end customers on focus products / differentiated systems to create stronger awareness.

d. Drive engagement activities and initiatives with assigned influencer accounts to improve the relationship index.

e. Allocate all the specification project leads to various internal stakeholders for maturing to successful order conversion.

f. Plan and act to achieve Specification/ Business development targets set for the year.

2. Market Activities/Insights:

a. Keep track of consultant preferences, competitors' activities, products, trends.

b. Benchmark our products / systems against competition.

c. Identify superiority / gaps and inform PSS and other stakeholders to improve our product proposition.

d. Drive the new product roll out in the market and gather feedback from customers.

3. Governance:

a. OAAP to be made and submitted on time and as per index ate the Region level

4. Support Role:

a. Co-ordinate with sales team to address customer queries, technical presentations, clarifications.

b. Co-create the regional level strategies with Regional Manager by creating/designing the competitive specifications.
