Business Development Manager - SaaS Platform (4-5 yrs)
Our client is one of the fastest growing Enterprise IoT platforms designed to digitize small and medium-sized enterprises' business processes. This includes cold chain monitoring, fuel tracking, electric vehicle monitoring etc.
The platform analyzes the IoT sensor data with ML-based predictive algorithms to help cold chain stakeholders get end-to-end supply chain visibility, reduce wastage and optimize their operations with data-driven insights.
Founded in 2016 by a team with rich corporate experience, this Pune based company already has a diverse clientele from sectors like F&B, dairy, healthcare and e-groceries.
As a Business Development Manager, you will be responsible for IOT/Telematics Sales/software Sales.
What you will do:
- Interacting with international clients in APAC region
- Researching and identifying sales opportunities, generating leads, target identification, and classification
- Creating channel partners in the APAC region for operations and sales
- Reaching out to new customers and making presentations or pitching outlining the benefits of product services
- Developing effective sales plans utilizing sales methodology
- Meeting sales targets set by management and contributing to team targets
- Maintaining relationships with all potential and existing clients
- Data reporting to management and gathering market intelligence
- Generating leads for IoT projects and cold chain monitoring
What you need to have:
- Experience in working with emerging markets in APAC (Indonesia, Singapore, Philippines Qatar etc)
- Excellent communication with professional writing, speaking & phone skills
- Good negotiation skills, convincing and client servicing skills
- Ability to work independently and multi-task in a fast-paced environment
- A go-getter attitude
