Business Development Manager - Internet/Online (10-14 yrs)

Role (Overview):

- Develop revenue focused alliance programs with partners. Build value alliances with SME promoters in India.

- Job involves developing relationships with local companies, SME associations, & conducting local events and activities with company and partner teams. Share and replicate successes to and from company Global team members.

Details:

- Conduct basic Market research, and opportunity finding in specific segments of the markets

- Execute revenue led programs to bring new SMEs on company, increase ARPU, engagement of SMEs on Company.

- City based development and replicating the success models across more cities across India

- Developing the Exporters/importers member base for company working with local Associations/Chambers and/or running direct acquisition programs creatively

- Plan and execute local partnerships adding value to company and also to partners

- Develop the companies on company for both Selling and sourcing online

- Work with some leading/well-known brands to create strategic influence helping developing the market quickly

- Work closely with other cross-functional company teams to explore new ideas for associations

- Replicate and share success models from global markets working closely with other BD team members in other countries

- Keep abreast with new features, associations, developments on company product and services

Desired Candidate Profile :

- Candidate should be enthusiastic to execute new ideas single handedly alike an entrepreneur

- Should have good market connect with proven historical executions managed single handedly

- Preferred to have experience of running revenue led programs in India

- Should have hands on skills to connect to people or partners easily and should have good relationship management skills

- Should be able to communicate ideas easily to outsiders

- Should be well connected with Online internet services, ideal if someone has done any tie ups/associations in local markets for internet or desktop software tools

- Candidate should have some examples of working in internal/external multi-team environments showing positive results

- Should be open to learn quickly and show flexibility to adopt new business models easily

- Experience of developing network of partners, dealerships, SME connect will be preferred

- Any idea/concept selling for internet or software products can be added advantage

- Candidates who are connected or developed partnerships targeting Indian SMEs will be preferred

- BD/Category development candidates from Retail, Internet, SME, Import/export trade related organizations can be a possible fit.
