Business Development Manager - Expert Network - B2B (4-10 yrs)
Job Roles & Responsibilities:
1. Client Engagement and New Business Development Activity:
- Proactively engage in client-focused business development and networking activities to achieve revenue targets and key performance indicators.
- Forge strong relationships with potential client organizations, gaining insights into their business needs.
- Identify and develop new business opportunities aligned with company's services and offerings.
- Utilize a consultative sales approach to generate new business opportunities within and beyond the core industry sectors within your assigned territory.
- Build and nurture client relationships, promoting cross-selling and up-selling.
2. Account Development:
- Contact and qualify existing business accounts to maximize revenue opportunities.
- Proactively build and maintain relationships with existing and potential clients, understanding their current and future business requirements.
- Develop account plans for key clients and specific organizational initiatives.
3. Pipeline Management:
- Effectively manage the sales pipeline, ensuring the generation of required opportunities in line with personal targets.
- Demonstrate a clear understanding of the Company sales process and cross-business unit functionality.
- Maintain comprehensive knowledge of the main industry sectors within your scope to identify key business opportunities.
The Ideal Candidate Should Be:
- An excellent communicator with strong verbal and written business communication skills.
- Knowledgeable about evolving sales mechanisms and able to implement them effectively.
- Tenacious, persistent, and professional, with high influencing skills and a proactive, methodical approach.
- Able to manage key stakeholders by sector/practice area, meeting, and exceeding expectations.
- Capable of developing high-quality content.
- Comfortable working with a global team of experts to create an outstanding customer experience.
- Minimum of 4 years of B2B selling experience in India.
- Proven track record in selling concepts/services in a B2B environment.
- Familiarity with consultative sales approaches and hands-on experience.
- Previous experience in both hunting and farming roles in India.
- Graduate with a post-graduate degree in any discipline, demonstrating a passion for selling and strong business acumen.
- Well-organized and detail oriented.
- Self-motivated, able to work independently with remote supervision.
- Capable of multitasking and meeting tight deadlines.
- Disciplined, adhering to high-quality standards.
- A strategic thinker with an understanding of how operational activities support the overall business strategy
