Business Development Manager - Digital (B2B) for a leading Insurance company based at Gurgaon.

Job Location: Corporate HQ, Gurgaon

Education: Graduate; MBA is preferred not mandate (Preference to candidates with MBA from a good business school with an excellent academic track record)

CTC: Best in Industry

Department: Business Development

Function: Business Development & Strategic Initiatives

Exp: 2+yrs of sales or business development experience in a start-up OR Insurance. B2B only

Working Timings: 9 am onwards, 5 days working

Key Skills : B2B Digital Sales ; Geography - India

Job Role:

- Responsible for new account acquisition for Group's and Online products by focusing on emerging digital ecosystem (fintech, health tech, ecommerce players, etc,)

This position's detailed responsibilities are listed below:

1. Continuously scan the digital ecosystem and maintain a database of prospects

2. Assess value proposition for the prospects in each of the ecosystems through liaison with internal teams - products, technology, actuarial, digital etc. and create pitch proposals

3. Build one on one relationship with key personnel in prospect companies; Manage partner lifecycle from prospecting to qualification to conversion

4. Manage end to end partner on-boarding activities; Design SLA with business partners through coordination with legal and finance team

5. Build visibility for the organization in the digital ecosystem space through attending relevant seminars, conferences etc.

6. Build a relationship with key personnel in competition companies; assess their strategy/proposition and help create Group's counter strategies

Knowledge and skills required:

- Interest in and knowledge of the startup and technology world with a specific focus on fintech and adjacent sectors

- Ability to work with cross-functional teams; strong networking and interpersonal skills

- Detail- oriented, organized, critical thinker with strong work ethics
