Main responsibilities:
Internal Business Development:
- Collaborate with the supporting team (PS/MS) and ensure they are equipped with skills in line with the DC business objectives
- Manage Vendor Partnerships
a. Programmes
b. Sales Support
External Business Development:
Build the DC business practice and generate awareness of the company as a provider for Datacenter, Storage, Backup & Virtualization player in the region.
Internal Sales Functions:
a. Constant Education and Training of the Sales Team in the DC business offerings and value proposition
Client Facing Skills
- Ability to present a DC Solution Offering to the client:
a. Preparation and Presentation of a solution
- PowerPoint (Essential)
- White boarding (Desirable)
b. Carry out a discussion of DC business value proposition discussion with an audience of IT Managers and up to CXOs (Essential)
c. Present thought leadership in a Forum (Desirable)
- Ownership of a DC opportunity and the ability to see it to a full close
- Ability to spot opportunities
