Acquiring Business Development Manage - Cards & eBanking Principal Role:- - Identify new businesses and business segments for providing the bank's acquiring services. - Identify payments needs in the market and ensure the development and delivery of services to merchants/ merchant segments - Identify potential Fintech companies the bank can partner with and address the need of new/ existing merchant segments - Deepen relationships with existing merchant both in the private and government sector by identifying payments needs and ensure delivery. - Keep track of market developments in terms of new retail opportunities in new malls, shopping locations, hospitality outlets etc and ensure that bank muscat is able to offer its entire suite of acquiring services. - Keep track of payment landscape and ensure that the bank is in line with best in class payment solutions for its merchant network - Track competitor activity closely and ensure that the bank is ahead of the curve - Ensure that merchants are informed of new services , product and benefits offered by the bank - Ensure engagement with key decision makers in top merchants by regularly meeting them and also arranging meeting with senior bank management. - Develop marketing strategy of bank's acquiring services and ensure delivery through coordination with bank's marketing units. - Ensure that budgets are in line with the strategic objectives of the bank. - Ensure that there is effective cross-sell of e-Banking product registrations, EPP, PG, QR Code Payments, Internet Banking , Mobile Banking ,DCC ,BM offer , Corporate Credit Card , Kiosk , Other services - Ensure that all process and policies and compliances with regard to the acquiring business is adhered to especially with regard to fraud and risk. - Coordinate with other key stakeholders in operations, fraud and risk, marketing and finance to ensure that services to merchants are effectively delivered - Ensure synergy with other departments and branch network Qualifications: Business Graduate/ Post Graduate Nationality- Expat / Omani Experience- 5 years experience in business development in Merchant Acquiring and Payments domain. Understanding of both business and technical aspects of the payments domain is a necessity.
