Business Development Head - Indian FDI - NGO (10-15 yrs)

Job Description - An opportunity to work with stakeholders from 2 countries, by driving FDI from Indian IT / Services / Engineering organizations into the host country.

Client Details

The client is a non-profit arm of a foreign government body, which essentially drives foreign investments from other countries inward into the country itself. They assist overseas investors to invest in their country and are based out of their embassy in New Delhi and work across industries in India, with a team in New Delhi, Mumbai and Hyderabad.

Description

Reporting to the Country Head, this person would be responsible for :

1. Business development in different industries, especially technology and services industries, in order to drive investment inward into the country


2. Developing a prospecting plan for software, data analytics, fin-tech and global business services companies

3. Liaising with strong infrastructure support based in the host country to being in investment


4. Promoting the host country as preferred FDI location for Indian services / IT / engineering companies


Profile

The ideal candidate would have:

1. At least 10 years of experience with sales / business development / lobbying 


2. Have worked in a similar business development role with IT / engineering companies in India

3. Excellent communication skills and openness to travel


4. Ability to hold CXO level conversations and build senior level relationships with trade departments of both countries' governments
