- The Head of Client Coverage & Investor Relations will lead business origination and relationship management efforts.
- This strategic role involves overseeing deal origination, client and investor engagement, and driving business development across domestic and international markets.
Key Responsibilities:
Client Coverage:
- Build and manage relationships with promoters, directors, and C-level executives.
- Drive business development and execute mandates.
Investor Management:
- Manage relationships with private equity and credit funds (onshore & offshore).
- Engage with GPs and LPs; match deals with investment rationale to achieve closures.
Client Coordination:
- Lead client communications, updates, negotiations, and follow-ups.
- Manage information flow and build strong client relationships.
Team Coordination:
- Collaborate and coordinate with the client coverage team.
Strategic Involvement:
- Contribute to global and regional strategic projects.
- Prepare performance and market analysis presentations.
- Gain exposure across fixed income, equities, and investment banking sectors.
Experience:
- Minimum 15 years of overall experience.
- At least 10 years in Investment Banking or equivalent roles in Banks, Financial Institutions, or Fund Houses.
Proven experience in:
- Client coordination
- Investor relations
- Managing a project team or leading a business vertical
Education: Must hold an MBA, CFA, CA, or MFA.
Skills & Attitude:
- Strong in client and investor relationship management
- Demonstrated leadership and team-building ability
- Excellent written and spoken English
- Highly proactive, self-driven, and with a strong aptitude
- Solid industry knowledge is essential
Industry Exposure: Direct experience in Investment Banking or Investment Advisory is mandatory
