Key elements of the role : Strategic : - Business advisor and partner to Managing Partner and Board to design and derive growth plans for the firm - Work closely with Managing Partner to monitor firm's financial and operational performance and advise necessary corrective actions - Work with Senior leadership to drive growth and performance-oriented culture within the firm - Can wear COO + CFO hat to manage operations keeping best interests of firms in place - Guide and Mentor Business office team and initiatives Operational : - Finance Lead and supervise finance team to ensure true and fair accounting - Ensuring 100% compliance for tax and other statutory liabilities - Ensure 100% compliance to Firm's internal policies and procedures - Identify, plan and implement scope of improving current processes - Ensuring timely reporting to management IT, data management and Infra. - Lead and supervise IT team to ensure 100% IT support to Firm - Supervise and guide IT team to identify and implement desired tools and technology - Mentor and guide to set framework (tool, data migration process and reporting structure) from BI tools (Microsoft BI) - HR and Admin Lead and supervise HR and admin team to ensure right support to firm - Owner for HR and admin process and policies - Manage performance reviews for the firm - Supervise and mentor vendor relationships for the firm - Ensuring timely reporting to management in case of any HR and admin related concerns - Legal and Secretarial - Work with lawyers for existing lawsuits - Advise Managing partner on wherever required legal actions to be taken to protect firm's interests - Supervising and ensuring all secretarial compliances for the firm Background : - MBA (finance) or CA/ICWA, preferably with Company Secretary qualifications. - About 12+ years of experience in B2B business models consulting, projects oriented businesses. - Must have handled senior finance role in mid-sized organizations preferably consultancy/ service firms Key skills needed are : - Commercial acumen, analytical and numerical skills. - Leadership and change management skills - Planning, organizing and coordination skills - Systems and process orientation - Communication verbal and written - Tenacity and ability to deal with ambiguity - Result orientation.
