Job Description - As the Business Controller, your primary responsibilities would include managing and growing the business segment of the company by financial planning and analysis.

Our client is an established Indian player in the chemicals segment, with a strong presence in Americas, Europe and Asia. They have various business divisions. They are now looking for a strategic individual to control one of their business divisions.
Description
As the Business Controller, you would be reporting to the VP Finance. Your key responsibilities would include:
1. Set up systems to ensure that effective financial & internal controls are in place in accordance with the corporate guidelines
2. Guide & train plant accounts teams to ensure that reliable financial results & MIS are released within the targeted time-frame
3. Preparation & consolidation of Budgets for the division
4. Analysis of budget and variances, current and past trends
5. Preparation of monthly & quarterly standard MIS, reviewing & reporting
6. Preparing business case and evaluation of strategic capex proposals
7. Evaluation of capex plans and control viz-a-viz budget
8. Monthly and Quarterly reporting of product margins, costing & inventory valuation
Profile
As the successful candidate, you are a CA / MBA Finance with at least 10 years of post qualification experience in business controlling or business finance in a manufacturing setup.
