Job Description - Leading European Services player is looking to hire for a Business Controller. This role involves playing a pro-active role as Finance Business Partner by working/leading multiple business initiatives along with various business heads to drive growth in the region. This is an individual contributor role and will require occasional travel across India.

Description

- Drive various strategic initiatives by partnering closely with the business heads and monitor their progress.

- Analyse industry trends and conduct competition bench-marking.

- Conduct regular meetings with Country Manager / Sector Leader to assist / lead in the review of country / sector finance issues in the sector, recognise and manage corrective actions. Provide financial information for stakeholders as required.

- Manage production and interpretation of monthly management accounts for the allocated sector; driving financial performance by monitoring and improving project profitability, staff utilisation and overheads control, and working capital management.

- Assist in building annual budgets and forecasts at country level, and consolidation to regional level.

- Responsible for financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, credit management, taxation, treasury (including banking, mandates, bonds), and internal controls in the sector.

Profile

Ideal candidate:

- CA with 5-9 years of post qualification experience.

- Should have handled a business control/FP&A profile in their career.

- Have a track record of partnering with senior stakeholders and of driving strategic initiatives.

- Must have a commercial/strategic bent of mind.
