Business Controller

Budgeting and Analysis:

- Preparation of General and administrative Expenses Annual Budget

- Monthly review of budget vs actual expenses and identify the reasons for variances and highlight the same to management.

Accounting & Control:

- Implement and maintain strong internal controls to ensure the accuracy and integrity of financial records.

- Ensure compliance with all relevant accounting standards and regulatory requirements.

System & Process Improvement:

- Continuously evaluate and improve financial processes and systems, including the implementation of new technologies and automation tools.

Risk Management & Compliance:

- Identify, assess, and mitigate financial and operational risks.

- Perform financial Evaluation review of Vendors

- Financial Excellence Review of Stores

- Oversee Franchisee Audit, Global Audits etc.

- Ensure compliance with all applicable laws and regulations

Treasury & Cash Management:

- Manage cash flow and liquidity, ensuring sufficient funds are available to meet operational needs.

- Oversee banking relationships and optimize cash management strategies.

Financial Reporting & Analysis

- Perform in-depth financial analysis, including variance analysis

- Prepare and present insightful financial reports and presentations to management and stakeholders.

- Oversee the preparation of all financial statements, including income statements, balance sheets, cash flow statements, and other key financial reports.

Others:

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (legal, Business development team, marketing team) and lead discussions around agreements with Franchisee Partners.

- Coordinate with the Shared Services Centre for various matters from time to time.
