Key Responsibilities for Business Architect Role:

1. Reviewing, analyzing projects to develop/onboard new IT systems, enhance existing IT systems for the business segments

2. Participating in the planning and execution of projects that move ideas to proto-typing

3. Working with technical and business teams to evaluate new and emerging technologies, vendors and IT systems

4. Creating business & functional requirement documents system requirements of various business process which are to be digitised

5. Conduct analysis to determine best path for solving business problems that may include process improvement, systems enhancement, user training, and/or software procurement.

6. Design systems layout and/or business applications the meet target business need on a small scale

7. Apply and utilize appropriate methods to ensure result oriented deliverables in a way that can be recreated and leveraged as intellectual capital.

8. Design solutions in such a way that they are aligned to enterprise architecture standards and principles, leverage common solutions and services.

9. Review system requirement documentation as requested to ensure it meets required business needs, organisation standard, can be integrated with existing system, and fulfills the process strategy of organization.

10.Acts as a subject matter expert in the development of business architecture frameworks, tool suite selection and design and methodology development.

11. Leads Senior Management through the development of business requirement plan for the line of business. Evaluate and present information that will facilitate effective and timely decision-making through written and oral communication materials that effectively summarize findings with recommendations.

12. Partners with IT architecture team in developing an IT framework that aligns with the business plan.

13. In conjunction with business partners, detailed out IT project requests, perform/lead initial analysis of the request and help with initial assessment and estimation of the effort.

14. Identifies and documents all IT projects requirements/development into business architecture documentation (design documentation, flows, etc).

15. Provide architectural oversight to IT projects; ensure requirements are in alignment with business architecture framework.
