Business Applications Executive - SAP SD

Purpose of the Role:

The purpose of this role is to assist in reliable, consistent and uninterrupted application services to business team. The role will have focus on SAP and non SAP application related requirements.

Qualification & Experience:

- Preferably MBA (from tier 2/3 institute) with 4-6 years experience

- SAP SD with 2+ years experience in end to end implementation

- Experience in understanding business processes and ability to convert to IT requirements (SAP and non SAP applications)

- Sound business process knowledge and process design skills in sales and distribution

- Experience in SD processes and SD integrations with FI, CO, MM Modules.

- Integration exposure to Non SAP modules

Key Deliverables:

- Work with IT partner and assist in timely development and deployment of projects (SAP and non SAP applications) for Sales function

- Participating in requirement gathering discussions with business users, related to SAP and non SAP applications

- Interacting with business users for Sales while documenting requirements and discussing with the IT partner

- Assist in creating test scenarios, carrying out testing, preparing functional specifications, closure of testing with users and training to users

- Assist in preparing project communications

- Monitor and drive to close support tickets related to Sales function

Key Competencies:

- Should have good functional knowledge of Sales and distribution processes

- Should be well versed with SAP SD modules

- Good communication skills - written and verbal

- Experience in preparing functional specifications and training

- Experience in functional knowledge in BAPI, LSMW and customizing objects for integration with third party applications

- Fair understanding of project management

- Able to multi-task and work under tight deadlines

- Good MS-Excel & MS-Powerpoint skills

- Preferable exposure to Sales DMS systems and sales processes
