Business Analysist WEM ( Web insure Exchange Manager ) About WEM: WEM (Web-Insure Exchange Manager) ; WEM is a product building for the US Health Insurance Market. The Carrier or Insurance companies will connect to the State and Federal Exchanges as per the law made mandatory by the US government from 2014. This product will help the insurance companies to sell their products at the different exchange portals and get the details of the transactions made for their Health/Dental plans. The solution is highly scalable, flexible and is regularly updated to ensure ACA/HIPAA & exchange compliance. Job Description: - Develop an expert understanding of exchange companion guideline(CG)/Implementation - Guides (IG) of Federally facilitated Exchanges (FFE) and the customer needs and champion these in the delivery of business requirements and into the product. - Update/Sync the product with the update in ACA/HIPPA compliances and respective exchange 834 Companion guides (CG)updates by updating exchange std/apf. - Develop and prioritize product backlogs, writing user stories and making decisions based on data. - Lead the planning of development of new exchanges for customers and work with internal and external stakeholders to deliver the same as a business requirement. - Leverage thorough understanding of business and system processes to make recommendations and propose technical/non-technical solutions to meet business requirements. - Document current state business process ("as is" process map) and future state business process ("to-be" process map). - Determine how to best implement the requested changes / customization. This may include working with Development staff, Product Managers, QA staff and / or other Business Analysts. - Drive, monitor, and track partner and internal progress against key milestones to ensure all requirements are being met. - Perform UAT for the developed software solution to ensure that the completed product matches with the business requirements and operates correctly. - Assist with diagnosis/troubleshooting of reported problems pertaining to software developed. Education Qualifications: - Preferably B.Tech / B.E Graduate - 3+ years of relevant work experience Critical Knowledge/Skills/Abilities: - Must have a deep knowledge of the US Health Insurance Market and experience in working with US health insurer providers will be preferred. - Must have a deep knowledge of understanding 834 Companion guides (CG) and Implementation Guides (IG) of Federally facilitated Exchanges (FFE). - Must have working knowledge in TIBCO foresight validator and should be able to create validator guideline and apf files using some validator tools. - Must have a deep knowledge of 834 and 820 EDI(Electronic Data Interchange) files so that you can derive required business requirements from CG and IG. - Self-directed and highly motivated with the ability to work independently as well as in a team. - Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build relationships and influence decision making. Customer empathy is a must. - Problem solver with strong product sense. Able to prioritize customer needs, dig into pain points, problem solve with customers, and clearly communicate product needs to product and engineering teams. - Strong project management skills (organized, flexible, and can juggle multiple projects/priorities in a very fast-paced environment) - Ability to communicate at all levels of an org internally and externally. - Ability to handle multiple tasks and competing deadlines
