Role :


- The Basel 3 reforms are going through major changes to strengthen the existing regulatory framework, restore credibility and improve the comparability of the banks capital ratios. For the market risk, reforms introduce a number of new global and cross jurisdictional capital requirements that trigger changes to the current data and calculation methodologies in the market risk RWAs and reporting processes. The reforms will also have direct impacts to the operating model and control landscape that supports the end to end Market risk process.

- The market risk capital requirement will come from the introduction of the new Fundamental review of trading book approaches and the job holder is expected to ensure that all reporting aspects are timely met.

- The role holder is expected to closely work with FRTB programme and outcome leads to plan, co-ordinate and prioritize activities/resources, facilitate sign offs on each milestone delivery and escalate risks/issues in a timely manner for consideration.

- To ensure a robust controls environment is in place where effective controls exist that meet the expectations laid out by the Regulatory Reporting Assurance programme in the business process, the IT applications and the data processing.

- Work with dynamic plans in a fast moving environment, continually assessing priorities and progress and adjusting course where necessary, being sure to maintain stakeholder buy-in

- Support testing and Go-Live activities including designing test strategy, UAT and remediation, Parallel run and ensuring documentations are completed.

- Drive delivery of programme plans, provide regular status reporting to senior management and in governance forums.

- Identify, track and resolve issues, risks and dependencies for programme deliverables

- Coordinates requirements gathering within Reg finance remit, documentation, prioritization and traceability working with programme teams and senior stakeholders. Works with the team to break down requirements into rigorous level detail and translates business requirements for use by delivery partners.

- Challenges requirements and designs detailed, innovative business solutions to realise agreed business requirements

- Document and develop targeted benefits for a change intervention
