The successful candidate will have demonstrated experience in business analysis and project delivery and be confident working across functional teams. Detailed Role & Responsibilities : Business Analysis - Finance and Regulatory projects : - Engaging with project managers and business subject matter experts to gather requirements - Acquiring an understanding of current state processes and business context - Providing accurate and timely updates to the project manager and work stream leads - Facilitating and driving workshops to gather, feedback and review business requirements - Documenting and owning business and functional requirements - Documenting and owning business acceptance test cases - Managing documentation approval process - Working closely with the technical analysts to translate business and functional requirements into technical specifications - Good exposure to analytics and reporting tools like Axiom, TM1, Moody's analytics, SAS, SAP, COGNOS, SQL, VBA, MS Access, Advanced Excel, etc. Test Manager - Finance and Regulatory projects : - Responsible and accountable for the development of the project Test Strategy - Delivery of all test phases and testing outcomes across the project - Facilitate regular project testing progress status reviews - Ensure that all test resource requirements (people, infrastructure and environments) are planned and managed - Ensure appropriate controls are placed around the test environments i.e. in support of security, supportability and recovery - Develop and manage testing schedule, critical path, contentions and interdependencies About You : - To be successful, you will be Project Management certified or actively working towards this accreditation. You will have experience working on Projects in the financial services industry. Technical skills : - Proven experience as a business analyst, test manager or junior project manager working on business process change projects and/or new platform implementations - Ability to get up to speed quickly regarding system architecture and testing needs - Experience with writing testing approach documents and executing plans in partnership with multiple teams across business, technology & change - Experience within financial institutions, ideally having worked on finance or regulatory projects. - Ability to coordinate multiple assignments and work independently - Strong experience in project documentation and experience in all stages of project life cycles including analysis, design, build and test support and implementation - Demonstrated stakeholder engagement and management skills - A flexible, proactive, solution oriented approach - Prince2 or PMI qualifications are an advantage Communication skills : - Demonstrated ability to motivate, influence and gain commitment at all levels of the organization - Strong facilitation, oral and written communication skills. Alternately, B.Com with CPA / ICWA/ MBA Finance. - Technology qualifications/certifications will be good to have - Peer bank experience essential with good background & understanding of BFSI/Investment Banking Operations in India - Excellent communication experience and comfort in dealing with senior stakeholders - Overall post-qualification experience of around 10-12 years with about 7-8 years of relevant experience in Project Management, Business Analysis & Test Management across regulatory projects & business process re-engineering, preferably in the Financial Services industry - Willingness for travel and work in different time zones to support clients
