Business Analyst - Logistics - IIT/IIM

Reports to: CMD Office

Role:

This is an organizational level role based at the Corporate Office. To build the organization truly becomes a logistics company with tremendous IT capabilities.

Role and Responsibilities

ASSISTING to CMD and office in the following areas -

- Understand opportunities and threats from the on-going digitization/digital revolution for each of the Business Units of the organization.

- Establish and manage a portfolio of potential digital opportunities for each Business Unit.

- Lead the execution of each opportunity which has been decided to pursue. Initial focus to be on successful digitization of existing business models by digitizing operations and customer interfaces/channels

- Build high level analytics of the existing data and work with business for meeting the business needs both in terms of IT hardware, software capabilities similarly what is being done by digital companies

- Build e-commerce business plan and execution strategy

Successful roll-out of ERP across the network (aim that the system is considered by users and customers to be at least as good as the legacy ERPs currently in place)

Once globally rolled out, further develop ERP to the next level by achieving significant, measurable improvements in terms of user experience, reduction of operations costs/increased productivity and improved service quality to customers

Establish a continuous improvement process for the ERP.

- Work with existing vendors to improve deliverables, change where required.

- Integrate all IT teams across the group to act as one aligned high performing organization and establish a customer and user focused approach and mind-set. Create close interaction and involvement of the internal customers by keeping a close involvement of global, regional and country line/commercial management

Qualification & Experience-

- BE/MBA - Premier institutes (only) and should have 3- 5 years of experience with current experience in a similar capacity.
