Business Analyst- Logistics

- Reporting to: GM, Strategy & M&A

- Location: Mumbai

- Desired Qualification: Full time MBA from IIM A/B/C/L or other tier-1 campuses; PG/ graduation in Economics/ Finance or any Logistics related specialization

- Required experience range; 3-6 years of relevant experience

- Targeted industry; Logistics and Supply chain

Roles and Responsibilities:

- At any point of time, Strategy team is working on multiple projects in parallel. While the common point for all projects is high impact strategy, functionally they may differ from HR to M&A to performance improvement. Being part of the strategy team, the candidate will get an opportunity to work on various projects, with focus on providing sector experience into the discussions and projects.

- Assist in various research and analysis incl. market best practices and competitive benchmarking

- Assist in providing clear insights into domestic macro-economic indicators and their impact on various businesses

- Assist in analysing global macro-economic indicators, their impact on India, incl. identifying key sectors which will get impacted the most

- Bring in sector experience across logistics and supply chain domain and identify key impact areas for the group

- Identify key growth areas and deep-dive into specific projects which have the potential to create huge impact

- Lead domain-specific value-addition projects and initiatives to support the businesses in various growth projects as part of internal consulting team

- Assist in providing sound investment advice backed by data and analysis for any initiative across the group

- Assist in driving strategic programs as part of strategy team and Chairman's office

- Engage with various stakeholders (incl. internal and external) in the group to ensure smooth functioning of various initiatives and transformation programs

- Assist in facilitating discussions and reviews amongst top management / business teams

- Assist in monitoring various business reviews and initiatives in the company as part of strategy team

- Bring forth experience of leading such initiatives previously

- Assist on various business research and feasibility studies on internal projects

- Assist in additional work that may come in up in line with Business Strategy

Desired Candidate's Profile:

- Full time MBA from IIM A/B/C/L or other tier-1 campuses; PG/ graduation in Economics/ Finance or any Logistics related specialization

- 3 to 6 years of relevant work experience in logistics and supply chain sector, either in strategy teams of other leading players or consulting company focused on driving strategic programs and feasibility studies

- Has worked in a high intensity workplace (relevant pre MBA work-ex also counts)

- Enjoys multiple tasking

- Good business and financial acumen; should we good with numbers

- Excellent written and verbal communication skills

- Flexible, smart with strong analytical and presentation skills

- Ability to work in an ambiguous and dynamic environment

- Ability to think through and articulate

- Well-read / informed, passionate and hunger to perform
