Industry: Logistic Position: Business Analyst Location: Gurgaon Salary: Open (Depend upon Interview and Current CTC) Exp: Min 5 Years Roles &amp; Responsibilities: Scope of Position : Business analyst look at how a company operates - conducting market research and analyze data to develop knowledge based and suggest methods to improve practices and processes. with the aim of improving financial status, solving existing business problems and achieving higher goals. Principal Responsibilities: - Determine operational objectives by studying business functions; gathering information; evaluating output requirements and formats. - Analyze the structure of a business, how it uses technology and what its goals are. - Identify problems within a business, including through using data modelling techniques. - Communicate with senior people in organizations to find out what they hope to achieve. - Define project requirements by identifying project milestones, phases and elements; forming project team; establishing project budget. - Monitor project progress by tracking activity; resolving problems; publishing progress reports; recommending actions. - Prepare technical reports by collecting, analyzing and summarizing information and trends. - Validates resource requirements and develops cost estimate models. - Conduct and coordinate financial, market, operational and related research to support strategic and business planning within the various departments and programs of the client group - Prepare data daily, weekly and monthly reviews and analyses of current processes using operational metrics and reports. - 5+ years of experience in Logistics, Civil, Building Material or Freight Forwarding industries with a proven background in business analysis. Required Education and Skills : - Preferred Bachelors/Master's Degree from Tier-1 Institute or reputed university in India. - MBA Preferred and knowledge of Languages (R Python, SQL) - Ability to impact operations and effect change without being confrontational - Detail oriented, analytical and inquisitive - Ability to work independently and with others - Extremely organized with strong time-management skills - Creative, self-disciplined and capable of identifying and completing critical tasks independently and with a sense of urgency. - Must possess a strong work ethic. - Strong communication (both verbal and written), problem solving, and decision making skills. - Self-motivated and possess excellent negotiation and interpersonal skills.
