Business Analyst - IT/Enterprise

The D. E. Shaw group is seeking a skilled product manager/business analyst to join the Enterprise Development team based out of the firm's office in Hyderabad, India. The team is gearing up to rebuild the entire infrastructure and applications to cater to growing needs around process efficiency and strategic decision making. The projects will provide the opportunity for the business analyst to work on the entire product lifecycle, from need identification and product conceptualization to product delivery for multiple entities and stakeholder groups. This role also provides opportunities for growth

The ideal candidate will have:

- A strong academic background (an MBA in Information Technology is desirable);

- 3 to 6 years of experience in stakeholder management, use case modelling, data modelling, process mapping, business process re-engineering with techniques to analyze workflows, proposing solutions, and measuring benefits;

- Excellent analytical, logical reasoning, verbal, and written communication skills;

- Proficiency in using tools such as Excel and Visio for analysis and process mapping;

- Familiarity with SQL, scripting technologies, and experience in web-based software development will be an added advantage.
