This position is for a Business Analyst role on the Product Management team. The Business Analyst is responsible for the execution and delivery of software releases within our software development life cycle. This position understands and coordinates feature backlog for all releases for the platform- - and their dependencies on each other. The Business Analyst will serve as a liaison between several functions and stakeholders, including Leadership, Product, Analytics, Technology and other business teams. The Business Analyst will be part of defining product visions, product plans feature requirements, release plans, user testing and communicating that information to development teams and other stakeholders. Key Activities: - Understand and utilize effective, flexible software development lifecycle - Create and manage an effective and well-groomed backlog utilizing Epics, Features, and Stories for development and implementation - Write and present clearly-defined Acceptance Criteria within User Stories per feature - Effectively organizing and communicating information across multiple teams throughout the business - Work with development teams to ensure that they understand the vision for the product and are designing great features for our partners, understanding the business context. - Ensure product releases meet the business requirements, with hands-on User Acceptance Testing - Understanding of what drive efficient and effective service/solution delivery - Promoting ways for continuous improvement within product and the development teams - Coordinate with marketing, sales and other business stakeholders to translate the needs of the business into something actionable by development - Coordinate effective user and market research, which is needed when balancing the asks of business, development and customers. - Accountability for transparency into product development efforts, and responsible for effective communication of status updates Requirements: - 4 - 6 Years of experience on a Product team, as a Business Analyst or Product Owner - Experience writing user stories in Jira or a similar project management tool - Effective communication skills, ability to work with international teams across time zones. - Ability to create user test cases and ensure product releases meet the business requirements. - Experience working with Consumer Packaged Goods companies, Grocery Retailers or other ecommerce a plus. - Motivated self-starter who can help refine ambiguous requests and drill down to the actual software requirements.
