Business Analyst - Healthcare Domain

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE AND ABILITIES:

1. Responsible for defining and managing the scope of business systems projects and production support defects/initiatives.

2. Manages integrated functionality, usability, reliability, performance, and support requirements of a system. Creates feature test strategies and environment needs.

3. Provides the link between the technical and business views of the system by ensuring that the technical solutions being developed will satisfy the needs of the business.

4. Proficiency with MS Team, Word, Excel, Visio, PowerPoint

5. Strong-to-superior analytical problem solving ability

6. Experience in writing business requirements and technical requirements, including mapping documents

7. Experience managing client expectations and eliciting requirements from end users

8. Ability to work in a fast paced environment managing multiple projects at once

9. Ability to read, analyse and interpret technical documents common to the environment.

10. Ability to work in a team environment or independently with little management oversight.

11. Shields developers from inefficient and unnecessary communication with business

12. In depth knowledge of Agile process and working in all phases

13. Strong analytical skills, organizational skills, attention to detail, and excellent verbal and written communication skills
 
REQUIRED TECHNICAL SKILL SET : 

Must have : 

1. Life & Disability insurance domain knowledge.

2. Prior experience with Anthem Claims/E&B will be an added advantage

3. 5+ years of experience in Systems Analysis or IT Development

4. Strong Communication skills & good experience in working with BA- s/PO directly.

5. Ready to work in EST shift (2 PM to 11PM IST)

6. SQL knowledge and experience (ability to write simple to moderate complexity queries)

7. Strong Web platform skills (.Net/Java)

8. Agile working experience

9. Working knowledge on any project management tools like (JIRA etc)

Nice to have :

1. Any development experience in agile team.

2. In depth knowledge of US Health care domain (From Sales to Claim Processing).

Responsibilities : 

1. Collaborate with PO & developers to determine technical requirements.

2. Ensure high-level designs including architecture requirements.

3. Assist in developing training documentation and proactive identification of additional documentation needs.

4. Review and assess the SIT plan and test cases; provide approval on the SIT plan

5. Assist in developing training documentation and proactive identification of additional documentation needs.

6. Support all Enterprise Metrics and Reporting deliverables including Problem Management Tasks in order to manage continuous improvement of our application stability.

7. Continuously initiate Automation/Efficiency Process Improvements and ways to eliminate recurring issues.

8. Handle various Audit Assessments, review requests and provide audit responses with required information in a timely manner.
