Business Analyst - Global Financial Services - General Ledger Replacement Program - Big4 (2-8 yrs) Premium

Bank is embarking on a major program of work to replace their current PeopleSoft (ERP) platform to transform the operating model and way of working. As the Global Financial Services (GFS) Business Analyst you will join the program as one of the key individual contributing to GFS India implementation of the global solution.

Job Responsibilities :

The role will be responsible to work as Business Analyst for one or more of core finance functions and ensuring the success of the GFS program delivery outcomes as part of the PeopleSoft Replacement Program which includes :

Project Management / Coordination & Requirements Gathering:

- Acquiring an understanding of current state processes and business context

- Engaging with project managers and business subject matter experts to gather requirements

- Providing accurate and timely updates to the project manager and work stream leads

- Facilitating and driving workshops to gather, feedback and review business requirements

- Documenting business and functional requirements

- Facilitate the update of GFS owned procedural documentation to align to new processes

Change Management & Training :

- Facilitate the change management adoption (assisting with change impact assessments) of new processes and solutions within the GFS

- Gather data and support readiness assessments of the GFS Finance team

- Support the development of the training plan, taking account of GFS training needs and focus areas

- Be the trainer and guide various teams on the usage of new ledger, its new functionalities, process changes, impact on upstream & downstream processes, availability of various MIS/Reports in new ledger etc

- Provide support to GFS Finance Teams during go-live, resolve issues locally where possible / liaise with programme team to drive resolution

Data & Testing :

- Execute and manage reconciliation and cleansing activities in support of data conversion/migration

- Execute testing where required as part of SIT and UAT cycles

- Support the System Integration Test and User Acceptance Test process, overseeing and assisting the test team through the test cycles and reporting test results

Finance Systems & Reporting :

- Work closely with the selected technology vendor and system integration partner to learn and own the configuration rules

Essential Requirements :

- Experience in working with major finance package technology vendors (e.g. Oracle and SAP)

- Experience as a business analyst working on business process change projects and/or new platform implementations

- Ability to get up to speed quickly regarding system architecture and testing needs

- Ability to coordinate multiple assignments and work independently

- Experience in project documentation and experience in all stages of project life cycles including analysis, design, build and test support and implementation

- A flexible, proactive, solution oriented approach

- Enthusiastic, energetic with excellent interpersonal skills

- Can do and curious attitude, with a proven record of delivering project outcomes with good stakeholder feedback

- Minimum experience of 2+ years in ledger implementation projects and business process reengineering, preferably in the Financial Services industry
