Job:Research Analyst on FinTech Solutions, SnS Group (focus will be on Wealth Management and Distribution) KRAs: - For the FinTech segments, comprehensive research of all deals in FinTech globally across tracking news flow, research reports, valuations, etc - Understanding key players in India, US & China who are in Wealth Management & Distribution in detail - studying their Business Models in detail (while focus will be on wealth management, the role is not restrictive) - Thorough research of current trends in FinTech, understanding and analysing consumer behaviour. What works and what doesn't. - Helping the Founders analyse and decide the potential investments in Startups in the Fintech and other areas (While this is not the scope of the role, the company is willing to invest in Startups as and when opportunity arises) - Working closely with the CEO for a detailed commercial analysis of New Initiatives (organic and inorganic) - Analyse new age companies, understand how they operate, how they use technology, and eventually implement best practices in existing business. - Working closely with the CEO in supporting & developing the investment thesis with and without potential partners for rollout of new programs & improving existing programs - Operational Analysis to improve efficiencies in the business - using data extensively Critical skills: - Ability to analyse large amounts of data about the business, competitors, etc - Strong knowledge of financial metrics (PnL, Cash Flow, Investment Management, etc) - Ability to manage multiple tasks across finance, projects, commercials, partners, etc - Strong communication skills/ decisive/ clear thinker/ great presentation skills - Ability to interact and engage with CXOs - Strongly aligned to Tech/ Digital businesses - Ability to convert Data- Information- Actionable Input (Business Strategies) - Exceptional analytical and critical thinking skills Research Analyst Profile to be considered: - Experience: Minimum 5 years in a Strategy/ Business Analyst/ Research Analyst role - Background: Worked in Finance or Corporate Strategy Team - Bonus Skills: Programming - Preferred past experiences: FinTech Company/ E-Commerce firm/ strongly Tech oriented Services Industry (Content, Hospitality, Financial Services, Sports, Healthcare, etc) - Location: Mumbai - CTC: Aligned to experience
