Business Analyst - Finance & Trading Analytics (5-12 yrs)
To be a part of Business Analytics and Business Intelligence from its start of Project work, defining the project, deployment and upgrading the deliverables and to meet the following Requirements.
- Meet the Multiple stakeholders and understand their needs for the business.
- Need to travel to various locations to reach Stakeholders for Business requirements as required.
- Getting the requirements, standardize the requirements in order by simplifying them for understanding.
- Well, expertise in communicating the requirements to team and requirement management.
- To consolidate multiple dates to provide consolidated report through working with various stakeholders.
- Providing efficiency by conducting cost and performance analysis in business case studies for further development.
- Get the approval for the project from top Management by defining the project objective and mission.
- Ensuring the project to be completed in pipeline by liaising with delivery team
- Creating, analyzing, and validating detailed functional specifications.
- Facilitating design sessions with the implementation team to define the solution.
- Define test scenarios to evaluate the success of the deliveries and participate in the Acceptance testing.
- Delivering elements of systems design, including data migration rules, business rules, Wireframes, or other detailed deliverables.
- Consider the opportunities and potential risks attached to the suggestions you have made.
- Identify the processes and information technology required to introduce your recommendations;
- Gain agreement, usually from senior management, of the best method of introducing your recommendations to the business;
- Communicate the benefits of your recommendations across departments and help to address any uncertainty and concern;
- Produce written documentation to support your work, report on your findings and to present to stakeholders when necessary.
- Regularly seek feedback from the external stakeholders to understand and investigate into the service/function/product provided.

Skills (Must Have):
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to talk to and present to a range of audiences, sometimes acting as a translator between parties;
- The ability to motivate others and lead change;
- The ability to work under pressure on multiple projects within timeframes;
- A passion for creating solutions with a positive attitude to change;
- Excellent analytical skills and an informed, evidence-based approach;
- Good understanding of BI and Analytics.
- Understanding of System engineering concepts.
- Understanding of the Project Management.
- Good understanding of the BI and Analytics lifecycle, products (Data Warehouse, ETL,Reporting)
- Strong analytical and conceptual design skills; strong problem-solving skills
- Must have experience in customer-facing engagements.
- Mandatory People Skills
- Should be able to work in a team.
- Leading and mentoring other IT consultants within the team, practice and across business units.
- Ability to produce high-quality work products under pressure and within deadlines.
- To coordinate with Business /developers / architects / management team / other Stakeholders.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with all levels of end users.
Relevant Years of Experience:
- 7+ years in Business Analysis in the area of Finance and Trading Analytics.
Qualification:
- MBA / CA
Work Location: Chennai
- Team Management: Reports to Business Solutions Manager - BI and Analytics
- Industry Preferred: Cross Industry Experience.
