Business Analyst - Education

Key Responsibilities:

- Understanding the needs of multiple stakeholders.

- Facilitating the negotiation of requirements amongst multiple stakeholders.

- Identifying the current- and future-state business processes.

- Helping the business stakeholders envision the future and how their work will need to change to support the future.

- Creating, analyzing, and validating detailed functional specifications.

- Facilitating design sessions with the implementation team to define the solution.

- Delivering elements of systems design, including data migration rules, business rules, wireframes, or other detailed deliverables.

- Ensure the technical feasibility of UI/UX designs

- Contribute in all phases of the development lifecycle.

- Support continuous improvement by investigating alternatives and technologies and presenting these for architectural review.

- Balance time and effort between multiple projects without affecting timelines

- Evaluate business processes and document them

Core Competencies:

- Logical thinking & ability to simplify complex problems.

- An aptitude for programming. Should be comfortable reading and understanding basic code.

- Outstanding verbal and written communication skills.

- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to handle and prioritize multiple projects and initiatives.

- Self-starter. Must ask questions and learn new skills quickly on the job. Must also be able to research for unanswered questions.

- Driven, team player that is motivated to take responsibility and ensure successful outcomes across activates

- Ability to work under tight deadlines with short turnarounds in a fast-paced working environment

- Excellent attention to detail.

Qualifications/Requirements:

- Candidates with an IT and engineering background, from Tier I institutes would be preferred. Candidates from business background are also encouraged to apply.

- Between 2-4 years of professional experience.

- Basic programming skills will be considered an advantage.
