Business Analyst - EdTech Startup

- As a Business Analyst, you will be responsible for problem identification, understanding current business procedures, problems with those current procedures, and possible solutions using current modelling technology.

What you will do :

- Data gathering and exploration, researching into current industry trends, and what competitors might be doing

- Solving challenging data problems with cutting edge design and algorithms

- Creating a detailed business analysis, outlining problems, opportunities and solutions for a business.

- Defining business requirements and reporting them back to stakeholders.

- Understanding and giving business insights from data.

- Knowledge of data structures and an eye for design.

Candidate Profile :

What you need to have:

- The candidate should have a strong understanding in SQL, Database.

- Experience in building data pipelines is a great plus.

- Should love getting the hands dirty with the data implementing custom ETLs to shape it into information.

- The candidate should believe in team-work as in a team that the whole is greater than the sum of its parts.

- Should rely on others' candid feedback for continuous improvement.

- Should understand requirements beyond the written word, whether it is an API used by other developers, an internal tool consumed by our operation teams,or a feature used by customers.

- Should have attention to details that can lead to a delightful user experience.

- Should have the experience of building BI dashboards and handling large amounts of data.

- Should have strong pattern recognition skills and figuring out correlation through the data.

- Strong proficiency in working on databases like : SQL, Excel Macros, Pivots, Mongo DB, etc.and BI tools like Tableau, or equivalent

- Knowledge of analytics tools like Google Analytics, Clevertap etc.
