Business Analyst - Digital Domain - Bank

Candidate required for 1 of the leading Bank

The role would be part of Decision Sciences Unit that spearheads initiatives to help business leaders to make decisions pertaining to customer life cycle management in the Consumer Banking organization. Decision science unit is a team full of youngsters who are trying to make a solid mark in banking by synthesizing mathematics and domain knowledge

Overall Job Description :

- Play a critical role in the Decision Science Unit of bank and assist in delivering key strategic projects pertaining to Advance analytics.

- Responsible for designing digital analytics strategy for the bank to ensure data and analytics help maximize client value.

- Work with product managers to give product insights, recommendations, engagement/win-back strategy

- Develop AI/ML use cases

- Generate commercial value based on-boarding algorithms, Propensity Modelling, Attrition modeling, risk modeling, in order to maintain CASA and asset growth

- Entail end to end ownership of analytics/strategic projects

- Support new customer acquisition

- Identify upgrade opportunity from other client segments using client potential

- Managing downgrades of clients showing continuous reduction in value

- Client engagement framework basis wallet share estimation

- Identify Cross-Sell & Up-Sell opportunities

EDUCATION :

Essential requirement:Graduate in Computer Science/Engineering/Mathematics (with strong quantitative background)

Preferred: BSC

WORK EXPERIENCE

Essential requirement:1-3 years of experience in working with programming on SQL Reporting Services 2005/2008, PL/SQL (Oracle/MySQL) and T-SQL (MS SQL server), SAS (Base/Mainframe), Python, R etc.

Preferred: 1-5 years of Work Experience

Specific Requirements

- Modeling techniques like Regression, Machine Learning, Deep Learning, SVM etc.

- Acquaintance with Bureau data scrub outputs from CIBIL and Equifax

- Text Analytics (Sentence Pattern Mining, n-gram analysis, LDA for topic modelling), NLP

- Functional knowledge of HBASE, Hadoop, HIVE, PIG, NOSQL, Spark etc.
