Job Description

- Providing consulting, research support, design and requirements management support for banking IT Solutions.


- Assisting with business case development and justification, translating and simplifying requirements to the IT delivery teams (internal and external). Must possess excellent verbal and written communication skills, should be capable of coordinating with multiple Business, IT teams.

- The Business analyst should have extensive prior experience and knowledge on banking functions and banking IT systems. Should have working knowledge of core banking IT systems, branch teller, sales, services, CRM systems.

Responsibilities :

1. Ensure sufficient coverage of requirements capture within the Business Requirements document in coordination with the Business Analyst.

2. Coordinating with multiple business and IT teams (Internal and Vendor teams) in order to ensure appropriate/feasible/timely IT solutions design, development and delivery.

3. Providing consulting services to Business and IT teams on new IT Solutions

4. Providing support to business users for User Acceptance Testing

5. Creation of the Functional Specifications document and driving discussions with Vendor teams and internal IT development teams on the Functional Design Documents and any supplemental technical design documents.

6. Review of the Requirements Traceability Matrix in coordination with the Business Analysts and QA Analysts to ensure sufficient coverage of Test cases and linkage of technical design and test cases to requirements

7. Troubleshooting and providing support to business operations teams on issue resolutions related to IT system errors/failures, e.g. file transmissions delays/errors, web service failures, etc.

8. Providing reporting and analytics to help support business decisions related to IT changes

9. Coordinating with vendor/s and internal IT teams to arrive at high-level estimates for suggested IT changes

10. Review and scrutiny of IT estimates to ensure rational and workable solution estimates.

Qualifications :

1. At least 8-10 years experience in IT Industry

2. 5+ years experience in Banking domain

3. Minimum 4 year of any of the following Banking domain experience required:

Core Banking, Digital Banking (Online, Mobile, Transfers), Cards, Payments (P2P,B2C, B2B), Account Origination, Customer Onboarding, Customer profiling, Customer Journey, Customer 360.

4. Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills

5. Knowledge and understanding of SDLC and Agile/Waterfall methodologies

6. Knowledge and understanding of desktop and Windows server operating Systems

7. Self-Initiated and motivated team player and a quick learner

8. Minimum Bachelor degree in Engineering/Science (4 yr. degree).
