Business Analyst

Job Description :

- The person will be responsible for creating a culture of data-based decision making across all functions of the company.

- The person shall understand the business needs of the organization.

- (S)he will work closely with the CEO and COO to establish information needs of the company, and implement a management information system to provide data to facilitate operational and strategic decisions.

The specific expectations from the person are :

- Good understanding of business and business needs of the company

- Develop key metrics to monitor business performance of the company, different functional areas within the company and key operations or processes.

- Develop and Implement a Management Information System. That is a framework for collection of data, preparation of management information reports.

- Develop processes in record to report to ensure that reports are accurate. Develop formats for data collection, storage of data and formats of reports.

- Work with the Information technology department in selection and implementation of appropriate technologies for data collection, MIS reports preparation, tools for analysis and reporting in the company.

- Establish processes for planning and budgeting. Responsible for development of budget, budget variance reports and analysis.

- Analyse MIS reports and support CEO and COO in review of performance of the company and different functional areas.

- Groom and lead a team of business analysts in the company.

Qualifications, Experience & Skills :

- At least 2+ years' experience in similar role in large corporates, strategy and business consulting organizations

- Good quantitative and qualitative data analysis skills, good presentation skills besides communication skills. Proficient or good command of English

- Good interpersonal skills.

- MBA or Equivalent from reputed Institutions or Universities.
