Business Analyst

Job Description :

1. Conduct fact-based, high impact and granular, industry, market, customer and competitor research and analysis to identify organic and acquisitive growth opportunities

2. Develop financial models to articulate, evaluate, validate, influence and support business objectives and strategies of the company

3. Help to develop, implement and monitor performance metrics. Identify and maintain credible industry benchmarks to drive operational excellence

4. Provide functional departments with analytic support on key business issues and strategic initiatives

5. Identify and evaluate new service opportunities and industry innovations that drive growth and strengthen the company's performance and value proposition

6. Collaborate with senior leaders/executives on implementing strategic initiatives including providing key insights from those analyses to guide key decision-making

7. Assess and analyze data including financial performance, key success factors, and market trends to develop strategic recommendations and assess opportunities

8. Assist in developing presentations for executive management and the board of the directors of the company

9. Perform ad-hoc data analyses for initiatives as requested


Candidate qualifications :

1. Academic qualification: An MBA from a reputed business school

2. 5 -10 years of total professional experience

3. Experience in consulting and/or strategy roles

4. Excellent critical-thinking and problem-solving skills with the ability to research, analyze, and synthesize data retrieved from multiple sources

5. Demonstrated ability to work in a highly analytical environment and to make decisions based on quantifiable data

6. Must have strong interpersonal and communications skills and the ability to work independently

7. Strong organizational skills and successful management of multiple tasks simultaneously

8. Must have proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including pivot tables and other data manipulation and formatting functions

9. Ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining a positive attitude and sense of humor
