Business Analyst

One of the e learning start up is looking out for Business Analyst.

Your primary job responsibility will include :

- Use data and insights derived from data analysis to drive processes improvements so that Great Learning's business requirements are met

- Design experiments across user groups to identify attributes that lead to higher engagement, satisfaction and course completion

- Analyze data across assessments (grades, submissions), attendance and user engagement (logins, reading content, watching videos etc) to look for behavioral patterns

- Help develop models that predict the likely hood of falling behind / dropping out and design interventions to prevent this

- Design, build and improve management dashboards to visualize performance and progress 

What are we looking for?

- Problem solving - good aptitude and analytical skills

- Quick learning - ability to learn business, processes, techniques and technologies on the go

- Good understanding of what analytics is - from data to decisions

- Good ability to work with complex, unstructured data from multiple sources - consolidate, analyse, interpret, clean and transform to get it ready for analysis

- Ability to design approaches to solve a problem using data analysis techniques

- Good understanding of basic data science concepts like distribution analyses, hypotheses testing, correlation analysis, indexing/ranking etc;

- Good understanding of advanced techniques like supervised & unsupervised learning, including but not limited to regression modelling, clustering, decision trees etc.

- Ability to interpret data, present/visualize metrics and extract meaningful insights to answer business problems

- Strong working knowledge of SQL, R/Python, Excel;

- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
