Buddy4Study - Manager - Business Development (4-7 yrs)

ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES -

The ideal candidate will be responsible for product positioning, develop holistic BD understanding of the market and the supply characteristics and execution of product marketing programs. The ideal prospect must be an accomplished B2B marketer with a passion for launching new products and features.

- Must have a passion for connecting people.

- Set-up and lead business development function for Buddy4Study in the designated new market

- Lead generation from various sources. Making effective use of social and professional networking sites to generate leads.

- Candidate should have working knowledge of costing for proposals. Versed with contact centre requirements of various verticals, good understanding of the domain.

- Capability to partner with professionals at the top of their game with a high level of autonomy.

- Conduct market research to identify and evaluate customer needs and meeting with clients.

- Creating enthusiastic client base by selling our market research and CSR/NGO domain capabilities.

- Maintains relationships with clients by providing support and information.

- Generate good pipe line for business development.

- Ability to coordinate & write proposals

- Have the capability to identify key levers of change, Ability to be a modest listener & Target Achiever. Able to work on stiff business targets.

RESPONSIBILITIES

- Develop product positioning and messaging that increase business revenue

- Spreading awareness about the company and its products to the education community

- Representing the company in various conferences, seminars and other events for networking and spreading awareness

- Building a strong network with the corporate fraternity

REQUIREMENTS

- 4+ years of experience Product/Concept marketing experience in B2B environment.

- Prior work experience in the social sector is preferred

- Experience leading product promotion and customer acquisition.

- Very strong written communication and presentation skills.

- Quick thinking and poised

- Willing to travel

- Excellent people and management skills to interact with staff, colleagues and cross-functional teams, and third parties

QUALIFICATIONS AND EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS

- Graduate/Post-graduate from ant Tier 1 or 2 college/ institutions such as business, economics, marketing, market research and engineering, with excellent academic standing preferred
